GTM #189 - Infinity: Navajo Outpost Scenery Pack
by Gutier Lusquinos

Infinity is a cinematic miniatures game that reflects the reality of modern warfare. Tactics are the key element in this game. Players need to be able to move their models through a game table’s terrain, avoiding enemy lines of fire and taking up the most accurate firing positions to defeat their adversary.

In Infinity, as in real combat, cover is vital to increasing the longevity of troopers. In a game like Infinity, well known for the long range and lethality of most of its weapons, moving openly without cover is almost suicidal. Very rapidly, often in their first game, new players learn that to be able to win the battle, they must take advantage of all the scenery available when moving their troops.

Scenery is a key element to fully enjoying Infinity’s gaming experience. Beyond the game mechanics, players want to play with their models in an engaging, futuristic, sci-fi environment. There are several scenery companies like MicroArt Studio, Plastcraft, and Warsenal that release official scenery buildings, specially designed for Infinity. They have nice, high quality products, quite different from each other. But sometimes, players need to fill up their tables quickly with lightweight pieces that are easy to carry and store.

A fast and easy way to get all the scenery a player needs is the new Infinity Scenery Packs. Each Scenery Pack contains a gamemat, six containers, and four easy-to-assemble buildings. These are cardboard scenery items that players can fold and unfold easily to transport. The first packs released were the Moto.tronica Scenery Pack and the Hephaestus Scenery Pack. As these individual releases were so well received by the player community, now, the Navajo Outpost is added to the collection. This pack was released last summer inside the USAriadna Army Pack. However, it was so successful and players asked for it so eagerly that it was finally released separate from the Army Pack. The Navajo Outpost Scenery Pack depicts an USAriadnan forward operations base deployed in the Ariadnan Exclusion Area. This new pack provides the same kind of scenery items as Moto.tronica and Hephaestus, but with new textures more fitting for Ariadnan players and for those who want a modern military design for their game tables.

Now, time and money are no longer obstacles to a high quality Infinity game table. The Infinity Scenery Packs are a very cheap and easy way to start building a high tech sci-fi game table. Ready to play?
