Welcome to the high life! It’s a beautiful city and up here on the rooftops we can look down on everything. Prowl and purr all night, then find a shelter for a leisurely all-day cat nap. What more could you want out of life? Fish, that’s what! And no one has more fish than the top cat.

So you want to be top cat? It’s not easy. Once upon a time I was top cat, and for the mere price of five sardine cans, I’ll tell you what I know. Don’t have five sardine cans on you? Well time your first lesson then. Whenever you need some sardine cans, go dumpster diving! A canny feline can always find sardines by dumpster diving, just follow your nose.  

Got your - I mean my - sardines? Good! Now, the first thing you need to do is build a network of catwalks and shelters. Catwalks will help you get your crew together whenever you need some help or just want to cat around. Shelters give you plenty of comfort for your daily 16-hour nap, along with a place to stay dry when it rains. Shelters are also a great way for you to acquire more fish. If a fellow cat needs a place to nap, make sure you collect at least two cans of sardines from them.

Really, that’s all there is to it. Surprised? Well, it’s not as easy as it sounds, because you’re going to have competition from all your rival cats out there. You aren’t the only one who wants to be top cat!

So remember, set up the perfect network of catwalks and shelters, dumpster dive anytime you need a few cans of sardines and then get the crew together as often as possible. Your goal is to have more fish than the other cats and they’re going to go quick, so make sure you grab yours as fast as you can!
