Set immediately after the events of The Grey Havens and the Dream-chaser Cycle, The Sands of Harad, the sixth deluxe expansion for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game, gives you and your heroes a chance to explore the strange lands and cultures to the south of Middle-earth... provided you can first make your escape through the streets of Umbar. To make their way through the streets of Umbar and survive their passage of Harad's grueling deserts, Middle-earth's heroes will have to rely upon each other like never before...
Three new scenarios carry you from the coast, deep into the desert of Harad, and then back within the reach of Mordor and the Dark Lord's Orcs, although in such a fashion as you have never seen before.
Along the way, you're bound to encounter countless ferocious Haradrim, grueling environmental effects, and deadly desert predators. You will also have to overcome the ancient animosities that have long festered between the Men of Gondor and those of Harad.
In The Sands of Harad, you gain the opportunity to explore one of the larger and less well-known regions of Middle-earth. You will encounter new enemies and treacheries, unlike those you've seen in your travels through Mirkwood or Moria, in the North, or on the sea. You will find yourself forced to choose whether to focus on your main quest or to embark upon perfunctory side quests, all with little understanding of where your decision may lead you. And near the end of these trials, you will have the opportunity to strike a new alliance; be sure to seize it!
