In Deadzone, a dynamic, tabletop miniatures skirmish game rooted in the Warpath sci-fi universe, you control an elite squad of soldiers and engage your opposition in furious fire-fights within the depths of an urban battlezone - with a will to survive at all costs! Featuring stunningly detailed miniatures and amazing modular scenery, Deadzone puts you in the center of exciting battles with variable mission objectives: capture enemy intel, assassinate the enemy leader… eliminate the opposition!
Deadzone features two crack teams of upgradeable elite troopers, both with powerful heroes and devastating heavy weapons. The two forces fight in an urban warzone, created using the astoundingly high quality gaming mat and plastic building tiles and accessories included in the box. These are fully modular and can be built in any combination you desire – the only limit being your imagination!
Utilizing powerful heroes, troopers, heavy weapons, and specialists, players send their team into a fully interactive, 3D Battlezone to scrum over scarce resources by combining deadly actions to lethal effect. Upgrade your troopers by collecting equipment and new weapons from the battlefield, such as machine guns, medi-packs, grenades, and more. But beware - you could be triggering a booby trap!
Deadzone: War in Urban Battlezones features all the rules, dice, and counters you need to play, including two elite squads of finely detailed Mantic miniatures, a high-quality urban gaming mat, and enough scenery tiles and barricades to create a modular 3D gaming environment. Nexus Psi has been overrun by the Plague, and it’s everyone for themselves as the living dead wander the streets! Every faction must react to this new threat, fighting to free themselves before they are overrun in the Contagion expansion for Deadzone!
